DESMA Open House 2026: Innovation, Practical Application, and International Exchange
The new SEALMASTER 630+ takes the spotlight
The diverse program offered guests exciting insights into the latest technologies, innovative manufacturing solutions, and DESMA’s comprehensive expertise across the entire value chain. The focus was on more than 30 machines on display with clamping forces ranging from 100 to 1,000 metric tons, including a stator machine and a fully automated manufacturing cell.
Special attention was given to DESMA’s latest machine developments. The new SEALMASTER 630+ was unveiled for the first time during the Open House. The machine combines 630 metric tons of clamping force with high dynamics, positioning accuracy, and a maintenance- and user-friendly machine design. At the same time, it offers maximum flexibility in the integration of automation solutions and ejection systems. With platen dimensions of up to 810 × 1,200 mm and a clamping width of more than 1,100 mm, the SEALMASTER 630+ provides optimal conditions for demanding applications, such as fully automated multi-deck production.
DESMA REFERENCE 300+: A focus on energy efficiency and performance
In addition, DESMA presented the REFERENCE 300+, the first model in a new series of vertical machines, which features a clamping force of 300 metric tons. Based on this global machine platform, additional models are currently being developed within a new clamping force range and will be introduced to the market successively. Numerous technological foundations from the SEALMASTER+ generation were incorporated into the development of the new series to achieve further improvements in productivity, energy efficiency, and ergonomics. These include, among other things, a drawer system for temperature control units, optimized hydraulic piping, and, for many sizes, increased clamping force. In addition, DESMA offers a choice for all sizes between the energy-efficient ServoGear-2 drive and an energy-optimized asynchronous drive, allowing customers to select the optimal drive solution depending on the application. Both the REFERENCE and SEALMASTER series are equipped with the latest DRC 2035 TBM process visualization system, which is based on a completely new software architecture.

The Open House was complemented by eight partner exhibitors who, together with DESMA, presented their expertise and innovative solutions across the entire process chain. Momentive Performance Materials GmbH showcased its expertise in the development and supply of high-performance silicone materials both in a technical presentation and during a live production demonstration at the technical center. This was complemented by Nexus Elastomer Systems GmbH, which demonstrated its expertise in mixing and dosing technology for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing using an LSR system on site. This gave visitors a comprehensive and practical insight into modern LSR processing technologies. Kracht GmbH was represented in the final assembly area with its LSR system technology installed on a DESMA 968.400 TV. There, visitors were able to speak directly with the experts and gain valuable insights into the practical implementation of modern LSR production processes. Güthle Pressenspannen GmbH presented its proven solutions for efficient mold changes and demonstrated how setup times can be optimized and production processes sustainably improved. NELA Brüder Neumeister GmbH showcased modern measurement, testing, and automation systems and also used the event to unveil a newly developed compact system. SICK Vertriebs-GmbH demonstrated innovative sensor and automation solutions and highlighted their diverse applications in industry and logistics.
AGILOX Services GmbH, a specialist in autonomous mobile robotics and intelligent intralogistics solutions, was also represented. The driverless transport system on display particularly vividly demonstrated its capabilities during the event by supplying visitors in the plant with beverages.
The Baden-Württemberg Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW) made an important contribution from the field of research and development. By providing current insights into innovative technologies related to hydrogen and sustainable energy solutions, the research institute offered valuable input for the discussion on future markets and application areas.
